Courtney Medell, a social worker who currently resides in Wakerley, began searching for property mid-way through 2020; it didn’t take long for her to decide that a two-bedroom townhouse at Arbor Park, developed by Pellicano and Arcone, was the perfect choice, with current government stimulus giving her even more motivation to buy.
After meeting with a mortgage broker to get an understanding of her options, Courtney was due to visit a few houses that were open for inspection, when she came across Arbor Park on realestate.com.au – once she visited the display suite, and met with sales agent Zoe, she knew she’d found her future home.
One of the factors that Courtney loved most about Arbor Park was its connectivity – its proximity to Wynnum Plaza, local parklands, shops, cafés, bars, and more, were instrumental in her decision, especially because her future roommate – her dog GuGu – was particularly motivated to live near parks.
The many strings to Arbor Park’s bow – a sleek and inviting colour palette, spacious interiors and an outdoor area for GuGu – drove Courtney to register her interest just two days after visiting the display suite, but it wasn’t just the internal amenities that helped her decide, says Courtney.
“As a younger buyer I did have a lot of questions for the developers and agents, and they always answered my questions honestly – they really gave me confidence in my decision; the information night at Arbor Park was also so informative and helpful, I really appreciated the conversations I had there with the Queensland operations manager.
“The Homebuilder grant and the first home owner’s grant were huge for me, they really pushed me to make the decision this year so I could capitalise on these incentives.
“I love the fact that I’ll be moving into a brand-new home – I never thought I’d be able to afford something brand-new, so I’m really excited to move in, decorate the space and live close to everything!
“I was so grateful that Pellicano was willing to support me with securing my first home as a single person, and that they understood the value in achieving such a huge life goal at my age,” she said.
Courtney will move into a two-bedroom townhouse at Arbor Park with GuGu in coming years, as the project continues to take shape.
